In other Halo news, 343 Industries has teased that there will soon be a “ a new place and way to play” the Halo: Master Chief Collection. The game was slated for a Holiday 2021 release date until the official release date was announced during an Opening Night Live Stream at Gamescom.

The release date was announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, just 24 hours after Xbox’s own Gamescom. Infinite will be one of two Microsoft exclusives launching before Christmas as Forza Horizon 5 launches in November. The job advert ( spotted by IGN) for a full-time Producer reads, “343 Industries is looking for a Producer to help develop a new project in the Halo universe.” We could perhaps be getting a new episode once a week. It is uncertain as of writing whether the series will see a Netflix-style all-at-once release, or whether we can expect a more standardized release schedule like other TV Shows.
